Job Description: Europcar Branch based in Port Elizabeth has a permanent opportunity available for a Receptionist. Strong organising and administration skills are necessary for this role, as well as a high respect for the time lines affecting the role and a team player attitude. This position is an ideal opportunity to deepen your understanding of the car rental business within a fast-paced, exciting industry.
Position Overview: To deliver upon admin responsibilities in a timely manner and manage the switchboard and reception area of the Depot, providing a professional and friendly interaction to callers and visitors alike.
Specific Role Responsibilities
- Effectively and professionally handling incoming calls, including the accurate taking of messages and speedy relay thereof to relevant people.
- Professionally meet visitors and ensure that they are taken care of.
- Ensure that the reception area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
- Managing the diary for reserving the boardrooms, and timeously ensuring that they are set up as reserved.
- Provide callers with accurate information, taking care to always be knowledgeable and updated on current products, processes, policies.
- Assist with various administrative duties in order to maximize available capacity. This includes processing Sage requisitions, creating orders within Sage, data capturing, filing invoices and orders created, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience:
- 1 year of relevant reception and administration experience.
Minimum Qualification:
- NQF Level 4 (Grade 12 or similar)
Minimum Requirements:
- Computer literate – MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- An excellent command of the English language is essential, both verbal and written.
Essential to Note: The successful candidate must have be willing to work overtime and weekends when required.
