Unemployed South African citizens graduates between the age of 18 and 35 with a tertiary qualification in one of the following fields of study:

Nuclear Fuel Cycle,
Applications of Radiation (such as production of radioisotopes),
Radiochemistry,
Reactor Engineering,
Research Reactor Operation,
Nuclear Liabilities Management,
Nuclear Safety, and
Nuclear Safeguards.

REQUIREMENTS:
Unemployed South African citizens aged between 18 to 35, who are students from TVET Colleges and have completed their N6 qualification, are invited to apply. Applicants must provide a letter from their institution confirming that they have completed the theoretical component of their studies and require practical
experience to graduate in one of the following fields of study:

Electrical
Instrumentation
Fitter and Turner
Mechanical Fitter
Boilermaker
Welder

Necsa Learning Academy (NLA) is a nationally recognised and accredited skills
development provider focused on professional and technical skills development.

To manage waste disposal activities of the national radioactive waste disposal site (Vaalputs) in accordance with the Nuclear Installation License (NIL28), SHEQ-requirements, international norms, standards and best practice and all other applicable regulatory and legislative requirements.

Coordinate and integrate all planning activities.
Compile and manage waste disposal schedules.
Approve waste shipments to Vaalputs.
Inspect and monitor activities of subordinates as applicable.
Approve internal audits.
Manage the document review system for Vaalputs.
Conduct management walk-throughs.
